I have been working on a new release. Someone commissioned a few chapters of a story he wanted to see, and then I fleshed it out into a series. I decided to release this series on Web Novel. Yes, that Web Novel. You guys know how I feel about them, but I also feel like I might not have much of a choice. The site has gone pretty stagnant lately. Scribble Hub and Royalroad haven’t really been bringing me any more fans.
I need to get more of my work out there, and more people finding me here, and Web Novel still seems like it might be the best route for that. Anyway, if you’re interested in that story, at least for now, I’ll put it on Web Novel. I’m not contracted under them yet (although I am in contact with them discussing the possibility of a contract) They came to me, and said they are willing to make special concessions for me, so we’ll see.
At the moment, no chapters are “locked”, and one of the concessions I’d probably take is a means that my members can read the story even if its locked, but once again, nothings in writing… except the first chapter of the book, which you can read here. The release will come “daily” for a week or two, and I’ll see where I sit from there.
