Man, summer ended far too quickly. My kids are back in school this week, and I’ll be back in school on the 16^th. Hopefully, with my new schedule, I’ll be able to maintain my releases. I’ll do my best to continue to deliver you content.

Announcements:

*We did the big annual survey. I can’t say there were any major decisions that came from it. I had already sort of made changes pre-July and for the 80 some of you who did the survey, I didn’t have much negative feedback on how I’m running the site, so I presume I’m doing an okay job here. Other than occasional tweaks, I have the site mostly how I want it. There are a couple of tiers I’m holding back on for a few reasons.

                1) One of these is Audio playback. I’d love to text to speech, but not only can every device do it and do it better than I can embed on my page directly, but the addition of it then causes another crowd of people to get angry, those who listen to music while reading. Every time the page would loud, the audio would likely cause the music to pause, which was why I removed it in the first place. If you want text to speech, just download one yourself. My favorite is called Read Mode, and it works fine on my site.

                2) A gold one novel tier. Adding a tier at this point with how many things we have connected to it is difficult. I can either change the $2 tier to $5 or I can Add a second $5 tier. No, I can’t change the price to anything else. Why? Because either option I take will cause someone to be unhappy. Let’s say I made the current Chronic Master Baiter $3 and the new tier $5. Someone will complain that they “lose” access to all of their novels when they upgrade from $3 to $5. If I did the opposite? Someone would complain that they “lose” gold when they upgrade. Either way, someone will whine about the price different between the two. Anyway, having two $5 tiers also leads to confusion. What if you select the wrong tier? More complaints. There is literally no system that won’t cause problems, so do nothing is the best I can come up with. If you want gold, $10. Sorry, that’s just how much the newest chapters cost.

*The Bookmark system has been overhauled and fixed up. Hopefully, it gives everyone what they need now. You’re welcome to use it. It will mark the last chapter you marked and the last chapter you can read at your current level.  

*This Newsletter is now coming out through Notifications. This is now how I reveal news, rather than put it on the homepage.

*I announced this separately, but NTR Isekai is finished as a novel. It is waiting to get sponsored completely. I said a week originally, but I think I’ll give it a month. It is $20 per sponsor. There are still a good 15 chapters left. It will raise back up to $30 next month if it has not been completely sponsored. Also, if you want to just have it all unlock now, you can talk to me and we can negotiate a discounted price.

*Hopefully, people are getting a better feel for the sponsor and the weekly schedule. I know at the end of each month, the amount of members usually takes a drop. Just remember, the amount decides how much I write. This level should be at an amount that I don’t get overwhelmed over the week once school starts back up again. That’s the hope at least.

*My Announcement for eBook releases… Man of the House, Part 3, is just about ready to release. I should reiterate that it had a completely redone ending, plus 5 bonus chapters. That’s right, FIVE. The new ending and the bonus chapters will not be put on the site for at least a year. Furthermore, MOTH will probably be locked after this. With the eBooks out, you really should buy the eBook if you want to read a finished novel. I am also getting MDL V19 done as we speak. Releases, I can’t promise they’ll speed up, but it is my desire that they do.

July Releases

I know most people don’t really care about word count unless it applies to their story of interest. BUT, I did write a heck ton more than this, specifically I wrote about 100,000 words in another story which I haven’t released yet (Women’s Cultivation World). If you take those chapters into consideration, this was a very heavy release month, and August will likely be similar on account of me knocking our NTR Isekai.
