Although not a lot happened in March, the first week of April has been quite productive. I actually have a lot of fresh announcements, so let’s go!

Announcements

*MDL V18 has been released as the newest volume. It is currently on my site and Amazon.

*Alright, so here is one of the exciting things. I’m getting back into the releasing eBooks. What used to be “smashwords” is now a new site which involves a wider distribution network. I will be slowly going through and updating my novels. They will appear in most stores, including Barnes and Noble (online) and more. You’ll find the links on my site.

 *MDL V1 had just had a rerelease. I will also be going back and re-releasing everything else. The reason MDL V18 isn’t on there is because I haven’t even put out 16 or 17, but that will happen shortly. Every eBook is going to get a revision to update links, do another light round of editing and try to make the works all similar in format/design.

*On another note… the paperback books are going to start being published again on amazon if you want to own it. I’ve set the price to $11.99 which is pretty fair current year market price. Only V1 and V2 are out, and V2 has not been updated yet, so hold off on it. Otherwise, eBooks are going to be releasing about two a month hopefully, and paperbacks will be following at least for the non-adult books.

*I do still have two months of school, so my writing will probably still be slow to schedule. I know I really dropped the ball last month on getting out scheduled work. I’ll try to do better. I still have the rest of this week off so at least until then, you can expect reliable releases.

*The credit system is finished! You will now notice a number next to contact in the top menu. This is the credits you have to use this month. Anyone who is a member of a certain level gets free credit. One credit is equivalent to $1. This is what I’ve decided to use to replace the premium chapters and the free eBooks. They have now been combined into one system.

So, how does it work?

Power Fapper – $1

Reverse Sage – $6

Onaniphile – $15

Hand Solo – $30

One Eyed Monster – $60

This expires at the end of the month, so make sure to use it. It can be used for two purposes. Purpose one, you can buy eBooks from the storefront. They are $6 each, so if you Reverse Sage you can afford one eBook a month. If you’re Onaniphile, you could afford 2.

Warning: At the moment, you can only pay with credit or money, so sorry Power Fappers, you can’t use your $1 as a discount in the store, but we will work on fixing this.

The second thing you can spend money on is the sponsor chapters. Whenever you see a sponsor bar, there is one additional chapter. If you want to see it, you must put money into it up to the amount specified (I’m planning to drop the minimum requirement to $1). When the total amount is reached, it unlocks for everyone and I start working on the next which releases within a week or so depending on my availability.

So, you can now choose what to support specifically. You can buy eBooks from your favorite series, or directly sponsor the continue release of other series. This will mostly effect stories not on my schedule, but I can’t say I might not add another series releasing reliably as time permits.

*This causes one more change. The eBooks on my site and the third-party distributer will increase price.  Novels will become $6.50 (Amazon already is and remains unchanged for now). My site’s books will become $6. I’m also going to raise the cost of sponsors to $60 and $30 (Based on chapter size) respectively.  

-Also, just to be honest, the sponsor system is naturally there to allow people to support individual series they like. The price I set is standard, but, for example, if one story keeps getting sponsored like crazy and releasing so often it becomes troublesome, I might increase sponsor goal. Since you can read the chapter if you donate anything, and you can donate every month, whatever total I set will eventually get reached, so don’t make a big stink about how much the sponsorship total is. This system has me giving out nearly $1200 in free bucks a month. If every member sponsors every chapter, I’d be writing an additional 20 chapters every month on top of the scheduled work pro-bono. (Hopefully, there is interest in eBooks and other stuff too) So, hopefully you don’t feel like this is a cash grab. Naturally, I’m trying to encourage interaction and interest, but yeah, not Whizzer just being greedy.
