I said this last chapter but I’m pretty sure this is the Shao power up arc and I’m thinking that yes Hope and the rest are going to have to figure out who Deek is because unlike the rest of the girls who wanted to save their race when they got powered up Shao doesn’t care for the demons. I think that is were Hope and the other girls will come in as when Shao was over their she really bonded with them especially Hope who she saw as a mom so I think Hope is going to somehow figure out who Deek is and remember Shao. Shao is going to become a demon queen and also I have a feeling like how each girl has combined with something else except Celeste when they evolved Terra with her own body and Miki with her dungeon I think Shao and Twilight are going to merge. Both women are obsessed with Deek plus he already has the champion of Gaia in his harem and so why not the champion of Twilight.
Yeah I do feel Twilight and Shao are connected. Starting to think when the seal was made it wasn’t to contain all of twilight but to split her into two fragments as even for sacrificing a racial core her power was to strong. One side morphed with the oni core taking on slight oni features but she became a baby and blank sheet to be influenced. But when this happened the empire attacked the demons which unfortunately left the baby twilight (shao) in the hands of the humans to enslave. The seal weakens when Shao goes through something tragic and her body draws from the power far below. As more strain is placed on the seal that residual power has taken all the pain/sadness/regret shao felt and manifested a warped personality creating the twilight known to be a world ender.
