World of Women - World of Women – V4 – Chapter 34
I didn’t scream all that much on the way down. In fact, I managed to keep it in pretty well, even if Cornelia gave me a wry look as she activated the bailout rune. We had jumped from a spot where there wasn’t too much activity going. While a few spells were flying, we luckily didn’t see anything hit any of the girls and were able to float to the surface of the island without much of a problem. I was still clinging to Cornelia when we touched the ground, and it took her tapping on my shoulder before I coughed and let go of her.
Her cheeks were slightly red as she looked away. “We didn’t land near anyone else. I just aimed for the quickest path down.”
“That’s fine. They have their mission. We have our own.” I cleared my throat and straightened my clothing. “We need to get moving.”
Although this event had been going on most of the day, the closer we came the more pressed I began to feel. Did Lilith manage to get to my family and take my sister and children away before the government moved on them? Were they up here on the island? Was Hannah up here fighting for her life? What about Lyra? At this moment, they could all be hurt or dead, and I had no clue about any of it.
We hand ended up landing on the roof of a building. We had once been led skillfully over these roofs in the dead of the night, but that didn’t mean that I knew to navigate them safely on my own. The pair of us carefully moved around until we finally found a later that allowed us to climb down. Once we reached the ground floor, we didn’t find ourselves in a better situation. This was a low building and didn’t give a proper view of the entire island. As for where the fights were occurring, or where anyone was, it was a complete guess. I didn’t know how the male district was organized and wouldn’t know where the most advantageous places were.
However, I also was satisfied with just standing still, so I began to walk in a direction heading toward the center of the island. It wasn’t long before we could hear the sounds of shouts and fighting. Glancing at Cornelia, who only shrugged in response, the pair of us started moving in that direction. We jogged forward until we came out between two buildings into a small field. The field has a group of men, formed in a defensive circle.
Above them, there was an airship hovering in place, and several long ropes dropped down over the side. Women in police uniform were dropping down from the ship. It looked like the men were getting surrounded. One man let out a roar as two women leaped on him. They managed to wrestle him to the ground and then started hogtying him. Other men they managed to catch outside of the perimeter were similarly dogpiled and then were tied up to ropes, and then hoisted up to the airships.
They were kidnapping men off the island, one at a time, taking them back under custody. Seeing such a scene, I felt my blood boiling. Although they were distinctly avoiding killing the men, this was the very sight of oppression.
“Clyburn?” Cornelia asked, glancing over at me.
“We need to knock that ship down.” I declared. “They already have too many men on board, and if they’re able to fly away…”
He didn’t finish his words, but he knew that anyone who wasn’t able to escape today, assuming they were able to escape, would never be treated like a human again. They’d probably still all of the men into the milk farms, declaring it was for their safety. It was enough to make me feel quite angry. I glanced around quickly, trying to come up with an idea. That’s when I noticed a clocktower on the other side of the airship. It was as tall as the airship, but there was at least a one-hundred-foot distance between the two. An idea started forming in my head, and I gave a small nod to myself.
Pulling out one of the spell cards and a pen, I started writing modifications, completing the spell, and even strengthening it several times. I did the same to four other cards and then I shoved them into Cornelia’s hands. Her expression turned white.
“Clyburn, I’m not that good at spellcasting.” She admitted with a blush.
I shook my head. “You don’t need to be. Just take these cards. I’ve already loaded them up. Just send them out from over there.”
“Huh?’
“You’re trying to get the airship to move away to the clocktower.”
“I see…” Her eyes widened. “And you…”
“I’m going to do what I always do. Something stupid.”
I didn’t give her time to argue with me. I ducked back behind the buildings and then started to sprint around the square, heading to the location of the dilapidated clocktower. This was probably one of the areas in the male district where men were allowed to let outside for a walk. That’s exactly what these women would have done, treating them like dogs in a kennel.
Fueled by righteous anger that kept my blood pumping, it didn’t take long until I reached the clocktower. Climbing up was more difficult, as the staircase was partially destroyed. I found myself having to make a few leaps of faith, working my way up. By the time I reached the top section, I was panting. I realized that I had never given Cornelia a sign on when to begin. Thankfully, as soon as I peered out my door, I saw one of the spells I had given her go off.
It flew wide, missing the airship. However, whoever was piloting the airship still veered back slightly. The girls surrounding the group of men as they were on the verge of surrendering began to stir like a beehive. A few launched their own spells in the direction of Cornelia. I grimaced, realized how abrupt and thoughtless my plan had been. Cornelia was essentially now up against an entire squad of trained cops. How could she possibly hold up? I was afraid she had been hit or ran, but a moment later, another fireball launched out, and then a streak of lighting. The fireball missed again, but the lightning strike hit the side of the ship. They back up again and again.
They weren’t backing up exactly in the direction of the clocktower, but a hundred feet had now been turned to twenty feet. More girls were attacking Cornelia now, and I didn’t want her to risk time trying to pull off another attack. She probably didn’t have the energy anyway. Even though I had stored some energy in the runes, she would still have to activate them with her own strength. For someone who wasn’t used to it like her, that kind of thing would be like running a marathon. In short, three was probably the most I could hope for, and this was my best chance.
I had already conjured up an air rune in my mind, and then did a running leap, casting the air with all of my strength. I exploded out from the clock tower. If I didn’t make it to the ship, then I was going to fall twenty feet to the ground. I could use the bailout rune again, but then I’d be slowly floating to the ground, giving them plenty of time to catch me and put me right into cuffs.
With luck, my jump was true, and I flew across the gap and landed on the ship with a rolling thud. Most of the girls on the ship were focused on the ground, bringing up and bounding men, and the fire shots from the opposite direction. Only one girl ended up noticing me as I came to my feet. Our eyes met for a second, and she opened her mouth to let out a scream.
“Sorry.” I threw out my fist and punched her in the face.
She fell back to the ground and I jumped on top of her, pulling off her gun, her knife, and a pack of magic cards. She was too dazed to scream, and I managed to pull out a card labeled sleep. Just as she reorientated herself enough to realize I was on top of her, there was a flash and she passed out.
“There’s an escaped man!” A shout came out behind me.
It was too much to hope that I could be knocking them out one at a time in the middle of a battle, I guess. If I had more time, maybe I could have fashioned some kind of invisibility spell or something. I glanced to my side to see a group of men who were all on their knees. Their hands were tied behind their backs, and they were tethered to a pole, making a circle of bound me. I rolled off of the woman I was on and up to the men.
I could hear the women running toward me. They weren’t throwing a spell at me. After all, men were valuable commodities. They wanted to capture us, not kill us. I moved as quickly as I could, cut the restraints of the first man, and then handing him a knife. He looked up at me, his eyes wide.
“Y-you’re Clyburn.” He gasped.
“Clyburn?” The man next to him jerked
“The blessed man!” Another man shouted out.
All of the men on board seemed to hear that name and perked up immediately. They all looked at me with reverent eyes, like I was some kind of celebrity they had all heard about. I didn’t realize my name had spread like that. Even more shocking were the women, who had been running to grab and restrain me. However, as soon as they heard my name, they all slowed to a walk and then became extremely cautious.
“It’s him?” One of the girls hissed, her voice sounding slightly frantic.
I sighed. Just what kind of reputation was I getting? I handed the man I just set free my knife.
“Cut them all free.” I then stood up and turned to the women. “Yes, I’m Clyburn Bonholdt. Who’s first?”
If I had a reputation, I was going to milk it. I made fists like I was personally going to box every woman present. The women all looked at each other, half in wonder, half in confusion. The one who appeared to be in charge threw out her arm, pointing right at me.
“Capture that man!” She bellowed an order.
Those words seemed to snap the other girls out of their hesitation. Several began to raise their hands, and I could see the familiar glow on cards or even some of the older rune gloves. I pulled out a card of my own. I had just used this spell not too long ago, and the situation was all too different.
“Wind!” I kneeled and struck the ground with my palms.
A giant wave of wind erupted from my hands, exploding upward in a semicircular wave. The women who had been descending on me were tossed back. The spells had been interrupted and almost everyone was thrown to the ground. A few women that were unlucky enough to be near the rails of the ship were pushed off the side. Hopefully, they also had bailout runes, but I didn’t have time to worry about such a thing.
I pulled out the sleep card again, and ran to the first girl, knocking her unconscious. I did it three more times in rapid succession, but the remaining girls had gotten back up. There were at least fifteen still on board, including the captain who seemed to have her head together. As the third girl got to her knees, I had touched her forehead and put her to sleep. At that point, the other girls let out cries, charging me. I had already used a lot of spells recently, and I was starting to get a bit exhausted.
I realized I didn’t have time to cast the wind spell again. Besides, some of them had already pulled out defensive runes and would launch them if I tried such a trick again. Five girls were still controlling the ship in some manner, but the remaining ten rushed me. Unwilling to back down, I let out a roar as well, facing down all of the women. Just as I was about to run at them, I heard a massive roar behind me. It was at a level that all of the incoming women suddenly froze in shock.
Suddenly twenty men raced past me, charging the women on board. The women let out cries of surprise as the men who were supposed to be docile and submissive leaped on them, forcing them to the ground. Men weren’t weaker than women. Even in a society that downplayed male strength and pushed women to be muscular, there was still a discrepancy there caused by male testosterone. Two on one, the men began to take down the women.
They quickly lost their composure. Most women weren’t even used to dealing with men. To see a man six inches taller than her bearing down on her with angry red-filled eyes was an experience none of these women had the training to deal with. They were ordered not to hurt these men, and yet they were forced into a situation where their only choice was to be attacked or to start killing. It gave the women enough hesitation that they were instantly overwhelmed.
“Now you know the truth!” I shouted out as I encouraged the men. “You are not weaker than them. In fact, you have a strength you never even realized you have. We can fight back! We no longer have to be bullied by women!”
This speech, albeit short, caused the men on board to explode with fighting spirit. They let out primal roars. Some of them even tore open their shirts. After a lifetime of being oppressed and treated like submissive lambs, encouraged to act meek, and then followed by years of being treated like animals, these men were finally letting out the male sides. The remaining women on board shook with fear as they heard feral, nearly animalistic sounds erupt from these men. Even the ones who got hit only grew more aggressive and furious.
A few of the remaining women chose to jump off the ship rather than be capture. As three men raced at the leader, she lost control of her bladder and then collapsed to her knees. One man had jumped onto a woman and started punching her wildly. I immediately ran to him and grabbed his fist.
“Oi! A man doesn’t beat women.” I declared.
“R-really…” The man who was just roaring with rage blushed and lowered his head. “My apologies.”
I coughed awkwardly. “Um… tie them up! Strip them of their weapons.”
To my surprise, the men started to do as I said, acting like my words were complete gospel. This left me feeling complicated, but it served my purposes, so I didn’t say anything against it. Instead, I walked over to the captain, who was being held down by three men.
“Order the women below to surrender.”
“What do you think you’re doing?” She shot me a glare and demanded.
“The government no longer has men’s best interest at heart,” I responded simply. “We’re no longer going to live under your tyranny.”
“Men… can’t survive without women.” She growled. “After everything we’ve done for you, you dare to betray us!”
Her were spoken with conviction. Even some of the men nearby turned away guiltily. This was the mentality of this world. Women took care of men. Women were owed men’s servitude. It had infected so deep down into people’s psyche that this woman was completely convinced she was right. Meanwhile, even as they rebelled, some of these men thought that what they were doing was going against the nature of things. I had once thought that men were at the top of the pack in this world. They influenced and controlled everything. Now, I realized that was merely an illusion, and the last few years had only been that illusion finally disappearing.
“Will you order them to stand down?” I asked.
“Or what?” She sneered back defiantly.
“Or…” I leaned close to her ear. “I’ll let these men fuck you one at a time. You’ll turn into their personal cumdumpster, get pregnant with one of their seeds, and your recordings up it will be released all over the intraweb.”
Porn was an interesting thing in this world. True, many women enjoyed a novel more than porn, but porn existed. However, thanks to the male protection act, men technically weren’t allowed to be engaged in porn. Women on men’s porn were considered taboo and only moved around the black-market. Most porn was either lesbian, solo, or using tricks to either make a flat-chested woman look like a man or some other camera tricks. Even bestiality in this world was considered less taboo, since finding a male animal was less difficult.
So, having her banging men get passed around would be like having pictures of your committing a felony spreading over the internet. It would ruin her career. As to her being forced into the situation, how many would believe it? Women fundamentally wanted men and to get pregnant. Being banged by a line of men would be many women’s ultimate fantasy, so how could they believe this woman didn’t want such a thing. No matter what happened on board, it’d be framed as her using her power and privilege to bang all of the men who were rounded up.
Even that would tempt many women, who would do anything to bang a man. Had I made this offer to many of the other girls on this airship, they might have been afraid, but they also would have been excited. This was because, despite the new rules of the extended MPA, women being raised to chase men and want to be sexed and impregnated was a feeling that ran deep.
There was one type of woman who wouldn’t see the bright side of such a threat though. I had noticed the look in her eyes the second she had glared at me. There was a deep-rooted hatred for anything male. When the government was ruled by the WRA, it wasn’t difficult to believe that women who ascribed to their ideology the most loyally were also the same kind of women who grew into positions of power, such as the captain of her own airship. If the government was making moves against men, wasn’t it best that the women in charge fundamentally hate men, and would do whatever it took to oppress them? Who would feel less sympathy for the male plight than the women known as lipstick lesbians?
As the captain’s eyes started to flash in fear, I knew I had guessed properly. This woman was a man-hater and a lesbian, and the thought of even one man taking her filled her with dread. To have a dozen men take her, have it record, and then spread to all of her friends… it was a threat with a major punch.
She finally dropped her head, having thought through the consequences and coming to a conclusion. “I will give the order.”
“I see, so it is not manly to beat women, but threatening to fuck them is very manly.” A guy whispered to his friend.
“Not just threatening… a real man will go through with it. Let’s bang the other female prisoners to assert our manliness.”
Clyburn stiffened. It looked like he had a lot to teach the men of this world. In the future, he’d have to start leading by example.
