World of Women - World of Women – V5 – Chapter 13
“Is that the Guare islands?” Lexy asked with bright eyes.
Out in the distance was a series of tropical islands. They were beautiful, covered in greenery with clear blue water surrounding them. Various airships floated across the islands, some flying low and transporting between islands while some flew high, seemingly involved in various vacation-like activities. A breeze hit me like a hot breath.
I glanced over at Lexy. “You’re not dressed for this.”
Lexy was a pale-skinned girl who typically wore thick dresses. Valiant remained rather cool thanks to the sea breeze, but these islands were humid and clammy. I could already see her dress sticking uncomfortably and her cheeks red with heat exhaustion.
“I…I’ll get my swimsuit!” She cried out, running back down into the ship where there were cooling elements.
Once kicking Lexy out of my room, the remaining trip passed quickly while I played with Sandra. It was clear though that she was using me, and I knew I was using her. Once she had been good and creampied, her interest in sex dropped significantly. She had only approached me in hopes of getting pregnant, and I had only allowed her to pass the time. Her fangirling might have been genuine, but the woman of this world took all forms, and many were opportunists. Psychopaths, sociopaths, and the emotionally stunted didn’t disappear just because there were no men.
Of course, I didn’t impregnate this girl. I already had plenty of children, and we never explicitly agreed that I was to make her pregnant. Had she done her research, she would have known that, but a lot of women didn’t believe me when I said I could get pregnant and select the child. I had intentionally lied a few times, delivering the wrong sex, failing to get them pregnant when I was supposed to and once even getting a woman pregnant who didn’t want it. It was only the women I truly cared about that I wouldn’t play those games, but it did lead to an impression that I was just a braggart and not to be seen seriously.
It was a mistake I had made in my youth. I had been too outstanding. This is what led me into experiencing so many traumatic events. It was better if no one took you seriously. Then, you could do whatever you needed to do and no one would question you. It was just silly Clyburn making up tall tales. It was because of this image I cultivated over the last decade that it had come to the point where everyone was comfortable with me leaving on this trip in the first place.
As we headed toward the islands, my eyes were caught by a form that just came out of the lower deck. A girl with curly blonde hair looked around the deck. When her eyes landed on me, she covered her chest and glared.
“Wh-what are you looking at?”
“I’m surprised you’re wearing… something so colorful.”
For someone who usually wore dark tones, it was surprising to see her wear a bright orange bikini. This was the newer style of swimwear that I had inadvertently introduced. Amaryllis, in particular, wore old-style swimsuits. Considering the women showed so much skin in everything else they wore, I found it odd that their swimsuits were so reserved. Even before Valiant fell, I had whispered into a few ears and the newer revealing swimsuits were becoming popular. It was another way for women to compete with each other, which made the entire system become adopted over the old one. I would have expected Raven to wear something more modest. I was going to comment on how much skin she was showing, but I changed it in the nick of time.
“I wear what I want to wear!” She snapped defensively.
“It’s fine.” I looked away, focusing back on the island steadily getting closer. “It’s pretty.”
I could feel her staring at me. I didn’t think parents had eyes in the back of their heads, but I did seem to have an awareness when one of my daughters was around. I didn’t make it clear if I had called her pretty or the islands, which left her grumbling for a bit until she finally walked away, going to the opposite side of the airship.
“Daddy!” I felt arms wrap around me and pair of soft things press against my back.
I turned around, smiling. “I see you finally got into something – geh!”
My eyes landed on Lexy, who was wearing black and white swim attire that covered her entire body. It matched the old Amaryllis style of swimwear, leaving everything to the imagination. I couldn’t help but let out a sigh.
“Wh-what is it?” Lexy asked, but her eyes seemed to dart immediately to Raven like she had eagle vision, her face turning red. “D-daddy! I burn easily. That’s why I picked out something that covers my shoulders! Ah! W-wait!”
“It-‘s okay…” I tried to reassure her, but she still left in a hurry.
She didn’t return to her room though. Instead, she walked over to Raven. “Let me wear your swimsuit! We’ll trade.”
“What? Eww… no… that’s like something my mom would wear.” Raven pushed her away.
“Come on! You don’t even care! Here, give it!” Lexy started to grab at the other girl’s suit
“Hey, stop! I’m wearing that! Ahhh…” Raven let out a cry. “I-it’s showing!”
Raven didn’t give up though and started pinching the other girl.
“Ow. Ow. Ow!” Lexy cried.
I decided to ignore their antics. There were no other guys on board anyway to get an eyeful should one of them slip out.
“Master, we’re going to use the body double to leave the ship.” Kemala approached while the others were still fighting.
“Eh?”
“You should head below, so Samantha can assume your place.”
“Is it really necessary so soon?” I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
“This is our first public exposure. I want Master to be safe. Besides, you’re only needed at a single show. The rest of the week will be for relaxation before things get serious. It’s best if people don’t know which beach you’re really at. I’ve found a private resort we’ll keep you at. They’re very confidential. Your presence won’t be leaked.
“In that case…” I shrugged and let left the view.
We were starting to lose altitude anyway and I was planning on returning to my room. As I passed the fighting girls and went to the deck below, they both stopped to look my way. I didn’t bother to check and see what level of disrobe they were in.
“Ah! C-clyburn…”
The woman in the summer dress happened to turn the corner just as I was walking down the hallway. She stopped, looking at me with wide eyes like an animal in front of headlights. She was wearing business attire now. She had less makeup on, and her hair was done up in a tight bun. She looked as professional as could be.
“I hope you will excuse me for not seeing you depart. I’ll be busy the next week, so please don’t take offense if we can’t meet up.” I declared.
She let out a breath of relief and smiled. “Of course, I’m sad we won’t be able to spend more time together, but unfortunately it seems our schedules won’t align.”
She nodded to me and then quickly left the other direction, even though it was a longer path to the deck, just to avoid the awkwardness of walking passed me. I could only shake my head. I had taken for granted all of the women who adored me. This was the more likely interaction. Most of my women were related to or were people I had gone through some traumatic experience with, and many of them were young and impressionable.
By the time women reached thirty, they grew cynical and tired. They knew how to play the game to get what they want, and then didn’t get their heart invested. This was the case with this girl Sandra. We’d likely never meet again. She’d go off to do her job, and she’d only ever think of me once she discovered she wasn’t pregnant. I’d be the first failure. Well, she’d only think slightly more fondly if I was the one who got her pregnant.
I had countless passings like this in these last few years. The women who had grown attached were far fewer, and none since my teens. For a while, I thought it was me. Maybe, I had lost my mojo getting women obsessed with me. After some time, I began to realize this was just the way women were. Even in my world, countless women acted as gold diggers who could emotionlessly get a man’s interest to get what she wanted. The only difference this time was that what she wanted was my seed, and I, along with most men, actually knew this was how most women thought.
“Or perhaps I just stopped trying to get them to fall for me,” I muttered.
“What’s that?” Kemala asked.
“Nothing. I’ll be in my room resting.”
By the time I made it to my room, the airship was already shuttering and shaking as it came in for a landing. Some airships stayed in the air when they were at port, but when an airship planned to remain posted for a while, it’d usually land. In dry places, the landing platform was a giant structure the ship could land and get balanced. Where there was water, the boats usually descended and became exactly like real seaships.
There was a thud and a splash that even reach my window as we hit the ocean. Our ship sailed into port and docked just like any other ocean vessel. I continued to wait in my room as the various people departed and the luggage was unloaded. I listened for when my doubleganger departed, but the dock was naturally noisy and from this distance, I couldn’t tell the difference between shouting and cheering compared to the standard work going on.
Eventually, a small knock came at the door and I answered it to see Kemala standing there. She was still holding a clipboard, but her dress had changed considerably. She let her hair down and wore a two-piece that exposed her midriff which seemed a lot lighter than the normal outfit. Comparatively, Brianna and Syph hadn’t changed, watching my door during my entire rest, and as we came outside they started panting and picking at their clothing.
I wasn’t in a better situation, as I put a cloak over me with a hood to cover my face. If I was seen leaving now, it naturally wouldn’t do good for my doppelganger at all. I felt a bit bad that for my first public display to the world of women, it wasn’t even going to be the real me. However, I valued my privacy more, so I dealt with the heat. As soon as we reached the deck, I squinted as I looked around.
“The kids?” I asked quietly so only the girls next to me heard.
“I made sure Raven and Lexy are being watched, so you don’t need to worry about them.”
I gave a nod. I would have never made it after all these years if I hadn’t come to the point where I could trust other people to resolve things. I trusted Kemala to do everything that she needed to do. I followed her, quickly realizing they weren’t heading toward the ramp leading to the dock, but a small boat hanging off the back.
The girls gestured me in and then hopped in themselves, and we were soon being lowered back into the water. When they said they were going to take me the back way, I didn’t realize this was what they meant. We detached from the boat. Syph and Brianna did rock-paper-scissors until it was decided Brianna would have to row. I sat back, ignoring her grumbling as she took us out and around the yard, making sure to keep our distance from any other boats that might be curious about who was on board.
I realized also that she didn’t plan to stop in the bay being used for the airship yard. She quickly left that area, blocked off by a group that allowed us on with the flash of a card and then began rowing along the side of the island. I decided it was better if I didn’t ask questions. I leaned back instead, and my eyes eventually closed.
“Hey… wake up. We made it.” I heard a voice softly over me.
I opened my eyes to see Kemala giving me a gentle smile. I realized my head was in her lap, and I could still feel the rocking of the boat dictating we were at sea. I sat up, noticing the sun had moved quite a bit. It was evening now, with the sun still a few fingers above the horizon. My stomach started to grumble with hunger.
“That was a long boat ride,” I commented.
“Next time, hah… get a boat with a motor!” Brianna cried.
She wasn’t paddling anymore. Rather, it was Syph who was controlling the boat. It looked like they had swapped out at some point while I was asleep. Both girls had taken off their coats and rolled up their pants. They were covered in sweat and looked miserable. Kemala had the courtesy to blush as she shrugged.
“The map made this place look close.” She responded defensively.
“Place?” I looked toward the direction we were going, and that’s when I noticed a long, beautiful cove.
This appeared to be some small crescent island. The bay we had already sailed into was calm, and there was an impressive-looking mansion that looked like a cross between the tropics and Amaryllis fashion. As we reached a small dock, there was a long line of people waiting. Most of them were wearing very little, although the uniformity in design and colors suggested these were servants.
The clothing was little more than a bikini, with perhaps a wrap around their hips. The only way I could tell who was what came from the bonnets on their head. One resembled a chef hat, while another was a mockery of a traditional maid outfit. This woman truly knew how to dress. I couldn’t imagine a way that allowed them to wear less clothing and show more skin. Most of these women had dark hair and tanned bodies, but a group of whiter-skinned ladies seemed to stand out, and as we drew closer I started to recognize them.
“Hah? Mom?” I stood up, causing the girls with me to cry out as the boat came dangerously close to tipping.
Mom was waving excitedly, but she wasn’t the only one. I saw my sisters there too. I saw Lyra, Rose, Brooke, Ash, Becky, Mako, Cornelia, and even the girls from Matahari. Everyone I thought I had left behind was all actually waiting on the beach. Most of them were already in their beachwear, although others had large hats or umbrellas they were carrying to protect them from the son.
“Clyburn!”
“Hi!”
“Hehehe…”
As the boat hit the dock, I jumped off immediately, nearly capsizing it a second time. Although there was a long line of beautiful servants, I walked by all of them and straight to the group of older women I recognized.
“What’s going on?” I asked.
“It’s your birthday this week!” Mom declared. “Do you think we’d let you leave without celebrating?”
I blinked, thinking about it. It was my 35th birthday tomorrow. I’d be older than I was in my previous life. Although I already was by a few weeks, the number would officially rise by one.
“So, when you told me you couldn’t come earlier…” I shot Lyra and Hannah a look.
“W-we already bought out plain tickets!” Lyra declared.
“They’re round-trip! No room for kids!” Hannah added.
I frowned slightly, feeling like they were still playing a trick on me. If they were going to be here the next few days though, I wouldn’t worry about it until they left. I had already mentally committed to keeping the kids with me though, so it wasn’t too big a deal either way. Before I could say anything else, my stomach growled again.
“Are you not feeding our child again?” Madison demanded, shooting a look at Talitha.
“I left the boat with the imposter and then had to split off to meet here without being discovered,” Talitha responded. “It’s been half a day since I’ve seen him last. If you want to blame someone, blame my useless daughter.”
“Eh?” Kemala was just getting off the boat when she found herself being glared at by my two mothers.”
“It’s okay, I was just getting hungry.” I immediately tried to pacify the group. “Can we get something to eat?”
“Sir Bornholdt.” The woman in the chef hat stepped forward. “My kitchen is fully at your service. I can make you anything you desire. I am versed in a large variety of Amaryllis and local cuisine. Don’t hesitate to use me however you want.”
Those last words seemed to have a slight double entendre in them, and it didn’t help when she licked her lips looking me up and down.
“Hmph!” Hannah managed to step in her way, blocking the chef. “We’re in a vacation paradise for the first time! No dreary, foggy, rainy streets! We’re not going to eat some amaryllis concoction cooked up in a kitchen!”
I looked at her in amusement even as the chef gave an annoyed sniff. “What do you have in mind?”
Hannah was the kind of girl who always had a plan. Whether it was having sex with her brother or creating a gang, she was a woman of vision. I recalled once she had tried to shoot a porno with me for fun. That had ended up being a messy experience.
“We’re on a beach!” Hannah declared. “We need to have a beach party! Let’s cook something on a firepit!”
I was expecting people to follow Hannah’s lead, but a cover of silence surrounded them. I realized everyone was looking my way, waiting for me to give them the okay.
I cleared my throat, raised my hands, and then clapped. “Beach party it is!”
