All Hail the Demon King - Chapter 1
“Wake up!”
I felt a stream of cold water splashing over my face, but it only started to grow thicker. My head jerked up as the stream turned into a flood. I ended up gasping and taking in a bunch of the water, breaking into a coughing fit as a result.
“What?” I cried out as soon as I could speak, wiping my eyes and spitting out water.
“It’s time for school, brat.” My eyes cleared to see a woman standing at the foot of my bed. “First day back after your illness.”
She had curly blond hair and bright blue eyes. If most men saw her, they’d immediately be floored by her beauty. She looked ridiculously young for her age, which made her seem like an older sister, but she was actually my aunt. She wore a tight white tank top and skinny jeans that outlined her wide hips and large chest. She had an incredible athletic figure, but that wasn’t surprising for a former heroine candidate.
“Can’t you be a little gentler waking me up?” I demanded, feeling rather helpless as I started pulling off my soaked comforter.
“Hmph, you should have woken up earlier. It’s your fault for not setting an alarm.” She responded, holding the pitcher that had contained ice water in it at me menacingly.
If that same pitcher had been dumped over her head, her entire body would have been on complete display. I couldn’t believe she had done that to me.
“Fine, whatever, I’m up. Leave.” I snapped.
“Wait, what the hell is that?” She pointed deliberately at my crotch, her eyes narrowed.
“Crap! It’s nothing!” I quickly hid my crotch, but she had already seen it.
After having cold water poured on me, I had been eager to get out and hadn’t been thinking about anything, like the fact I was having a sex dream before I woke up and likely had a boner. I had pulled back my comforter and shown a tent to my aunt.
“You’re getting turned on by my body?” She gave a disgusted look, covering herself. “Even though I’m your aunt? You really are a disgusting pervert!”
“Don’t flatter yourself!” I shouted back, but she had already fled my room.
“Hurry, you only got five minutes.”
“Five?” I looked at the alarm clock. “Crap!”
Not only had she drenched me so it would take even longer getting ready, but she had waited until the last second to do it. I had to rip off my clothing, working around my morning boner as I quickly dressed myself. At least I didn’t have a wet dream or something. I had been fantasizing about a certain girl, and such dreams always got me worked up.
I dressed in record time and ran out into the living room. My aunt was in the kitchen, casually making something to eat while the radio played.
“Has there been any reports?”
“Nothing things the heroine Adora entered the demon lord’s castle nearly one weak ago.”
“There has to be more news by now. Is she dead? Alive?”
“This seems reminiscent of the last time a heroine made it to the demon lord’s castle. How long ago was that?”
“Nearly sixteen years ago.”
“It was sixteen years since the heroine Xaria managed to pass all the trials, claim the holy sword, and enter the demon lord’s castle with the potential of ending the war between our realms that has continued for one thousand years. Of course, its now known that she failed to defeat the demon king. Now, it’s taken over a decade to produce another who has managed to get this far. If she fails, it will truly be a massive blow to the morale for humanity.”
“The government has recently been very quiet lately when it has come to the heroine candidate program. Adora’s presence seemed to have come from nowhere. Do we really believe that she has succeeded?”
“All we can do is continue to listen and report. We’re here for you, human realm, every hour, on the hour. Next on Channel 8 news, Beastkin slavegirls, cropped tail or not cropped? The results may surprise you.”
“Oi! Pervert!” I saw a hand in front of my face snap. “You’re late?”
I jumped before looking at my aunt. The story on the radio had caught my ears and I had dazed off for a moment.
“Huh? Aren’t you taking me?”
“Huh? I don’t have time for that.”
“Seriously? Then I’m going to be really late!”
I knew I was barely going to make it if she drove me, but if Auntie was leaving me behind, then I had no chance of making it to school on time.”
“You should have thought of that before you got up late!” Auntie replied coldly, cracking open a beer and sitting back on the couch with no intention of helping me.
I grabbed my bag, put on my shoes, and then left our small apartment. I went for my bike which was locked up in front of the apartment building. After struggling with the code three times, I finally got it to open. Just as I was pulling it out, I stopped for a moment, looking around. Something felt a bit off to me, but I couldn’t put my finger on it. I felt like I was being watched.
However, when I failed to see anyone. Looking around one last time, feeling a bit awkward, I put the helmet on my head and then I jumped on the bike and headed down the street. I wasn’t that far from the school, and it only took about ten minutes to reach the front entrance. However, the gates were already closed by the time I pulled up. With an aggravated growl, I drove to the bike stand and started locking up my helmet and bike. Just as I was finishing up, I started getting that feeling I was being watched again.
“You’re late.” I deep feminine voice came from behind me, causing a chill to run up my spine.
“P-principal…”
“Principal, my ass!” The next thing I knew, my ear was firmly in her fingertips, and I was being yanked threw the gate.
“Ow! Teacher… please!” I begged as she yanked on my ear and I desperately tried to keep up with her motions.
My other ear was pressed against her soft hips. I could smell her flowery scent as well, but there was nothing gratifying about being in the principal’s clutches. Like my auntie, she had been a former heroine candidate. What was with heroine candidates that made them such unrelenting people. I only personally knew the two, and yet they were both as sadistic as they were beautiful.
Principal Serrice had strait black hair and dark brown eyes. Her chest wasn’t as large as Auntie, but she wore a tight blouse which seemed to pull at the buttons like they wanted to come out at any time. Her large black skirt had a split down the side that only barely showed her long legs in dark stockings. She wore heals which licked with each step, and as we walked from the concrete into the tile floors, the sound of the rhythmic clicks became more distinct.
As I was dragged through the hallways of the school while desperately trying to keep my ear from being ripped off, straggling boys who hadn’t made it to class yet looked on with envy. They thought I was lucky having my head pressed against her thigh, but these were fools who had never tasted her wrath. She seemed to take particular joy in torturing me, but I couldn’t say why I was always singled out.
She stopped for a moment, turning to the boys who were all watching from behind. “Get to class!”
Even they didn’t dare to defy a direct order from her like that. They all scattered away like roaches. She gave one dismissive snort, and then continued her walk. I had stopped fighting. There was no point in fighting. She was simply a force of nature. Thankfully, once we entered the main office, she let go of my ear and turned to me.
“You’ve been gone for a week from school. You were often late before. Are you planning on continuing to be late?”
“N-no ma’am! It was just an accident.”
I wanted to blame my auntie who woke me up late on purpose and then refused to drive me, but I knew that Principal Serrice hated excuses and it was better to just agree with her. She looked like she wanted to say more, but she was interrupted.
“Principal.” A secretary approached her quietly. “We have a new admittance.”
“A new student? In the middle of the year? Now?” Principal Serrice frowned unhappily.
“I’m sorry, but it’s a special case.” She gestured to the principal’s office. “She’s in there now.”
Principal Serrice frowned, but then she sighed and crossed her arms under her breasts while nodding at me. “Sit there until you can get signed in.”
With those words, she entered the doorway. I could only see the back of what appeared to be a girl’s head before the door closed behind Principal Serrice. I felt regretful that I hadn’t just given up and walked home earlier when I knew I was going to be late. At least if I was absent, I wouldn’t have to deal with being lectured. With a sigh, I sat down in the chair and waited.
“Did you hear the news?” One secretary was whispering to another.
“What news?”
“The government just announced it.”
“Announced what?”
“The fall of the Demon King. Heroine Adora succeeded. The demon king is dead!”
