Coming back to a thought about the technique he got from the Legacy of that Romantic Immortal, didnt he say it could help him with his mana deficency problem if he used it together with a virgin of the opposite sex during intercourse (going by what has transpired with Fate, he either did simply not use it, which I believe as the more plausible one… as he is aiming for certain mutations and he clearly wants to get a grasp on genetics and information, while the other one is also possible [if Im wrong and skipped something then like a bloody idiot correct me!] that Fate might not be as innocent as we are let to believe, well that or whizzer forgot that part [most unlickly])
Also another can of worms, Spirit is short on a “few” cells to be a “full” human, he also seems to be conciously avoiding the reproductive capacity of his human celluar makeup, in other words, if our boy is shooting (at least currently) they are chemical deliverys but blanks in the procreational part, well that might change in the future as we clearly have multiple female characters that have at least an interest in Spirit that seemingly goes further than simple curiosity or straight up enemys, also wonder whats going to happen with that Stride story thread, there is so much going on in the background…

I think he and Fate already gained the mutation but since he still haven’t evolved and thus haven’t had an increase in stats then we can’t confirm whether he has the mutation yet. It’s a good thing that Fate is leveling up so let’s see whether she has a mutation later.
He didn’t absorb the guy. Actually if he can use L-form Switching and chage face, he should be able to create another identity like the old paragon hermit that he made up. He can also test a lot of his power in that form.
He’s being careful since magic doesn’t make sense at all. Like how the hell did that wyvern pull his consciousness into a virtual space that’s separated from time in the real world, and how did that eagle produce a kamehameha from its mouth, and how did that Domini even block that thing, and how did that mercenary put a tracker on him. We don’t have definite proof that using L-form switching will work. Maybe there are levels to these magic trackers. I haven’t read LOTM yet but I heard there’s a phenomenon there where if you even think about an entity, that said entity would be aware of your existence. All L-form switching does is change your chemical signature (i think). That wouldn’t prevent you from thinking about something. If that kind of phenomenon can be replicated by the magic of this world, he’s tracked no matter what he did, with the exception of studying mana and skills and learning how to block his thoughts from sending mana signals to keep such a phenomenon from detecting him.

I have a better idea. How about tossing a small batch of cells with the least mass to what you want to put in your Luminal Space and with his external control he can put whatever item he desire in the Luminal Space while keeping distance.
