I’m a bit puzzled why he killed the girl. She looked pretty close to breaking. If his intent is for his opponents to submit to him, she kinda looked ready to do just that when he killed her.
I’m puzzled by this comment. It’s literally established a paragraph later she’s a slave who has no will of her own, and even after her death the uncle still attacks him. I know he doesn’t know that, but let’s face it, If I wrote this where he didn’t kill her, but some reason just stops, and then she tries to kill him immediately after, which she absolutely would because, once again, slave, someone else would be asking why he was such an idiot trying to save people who obviously wanted him dead.
I understand, it was just weird that he asked the third uncle if he was ready to surrender after killing someone who looked terrified and like she’d lost the will to fight.
I’m not going to tell you how to write. I respect you way too much for that. I was just giving my impression on something that puzzled me.
