So obviously Deek has to merge with his missing soul fragment, but I wonder, does it matter which way it goes?
If Deek “wins” and takes the missing soul fragment, that would be functionally the same as Not-Deek winning, absorbing Deek, and expelling Richard’s inferior lore.
So Deek has a busted soul, a fragment that wants to destroy him, is a prisoner of the fae, no connection to Gaia or Eliza, and no potential way out of the current situation that I can see…..
The suspense is killing me, I may need to switch stories for a while and let some chapters build up
I honestly would feel disappointed if deek becomes hole by losing
Disappointing, but well, let’s see where it goes ..
