Power of Creation - Volume 1 - Chapter 23
“Hero-san… there is only one concern I have,” Aura spoke up after a while, her voice soft but laced with a hint of worry.
“Mm?” I asked, turning my attention to her.
“The reason we summoned Hero-san to this world in the first place is because of the neighboring demon lord and all of their ilk. I worry that we might one day be in danger if the demon lords are allowed to consolidate their power. I don’t want to grow up in a world where our new baby is threatened,” she explained, her eyes filled with a mix of fear and determination.
“Ah, that might be some concern, after all,” I replied, scratching my chin in thought. Then, I snapped my fingers, a smirk playing on my lips. “Alright, I’ll go take care of that!”
“Huh?” Aura said with surprise, her eyes widening as she looked at me in disbelief.
“Well, there seems to be no reason to hold it off, so I’ll just go to the demon castle and stop this demon lord guy,” I stated, my voice filled with confidence and a touch of excitement.
“Bu-but… the demon lord is very powerful and very scary!” Aura tried to argue back, her voice trembling slightly.
“You’re right, I’ll need to consider things carefully before I walk into it,” I acknowledged, nodding in agreement.
I stood up in the middle of the room, my naked body a testament to the raw power and magic that coursed through my veins. I closed my eyes for a few minutes, and a brilliant white light enveloped me. When it faded, I was completely clothed, wearing an outfit that was the epitome of badassery. The armor was fitted exactly to my play style, enchanted with every enchantment I could imagine. It was a sight to behold, a combination of strength, agility, and sheer awesomeness.
In a flash, I went from a naked guy to looking like a knight, or at least the top-level player. In the real world’s games, I’d have to fight and earn the better stuff, steadily affording items as I improved and earned more money from higher-tier enemies. But in the end, all the best armor was always found in dungeons, and the dungeons likely created this high-tier stuff using magic, so I simply made a spell that created this armor on my own.
I thought for a second, and another flash gave me a giant sword, one of those impractically large things that could cleave mountains with a single blow. Luckily, it was as light as a feather in my hands, a perfect extension of my will and power.
“Ah, you truly do look like the hero, Hero-san. I am pleased to be able to bear your child,” Aura said, her voice filled with a mix of awe and desire.
Her cheeks flushed a delicate pink, and I could see the hunger in her eyes. After her youthful sex-drive had been reignited, a queen like her clearly found heroism and power erotic. She was eyeing me hungrily as if she wanted a second go. With magic, I could modify the armor so we could do it this way, but at the moment, I had demon lords to kill.
“Yes, hero is the best!” Ariel shouted, her voice filled with excitement and admiration.
I turned to leave, but Aura stopped me, her voice laced with worry. “Uh… first, I don’t know how long it’ll take…” She was clearly concerned about me.
After all, I did just get her pregnant, and now I was running off to war. Well, to me, it was more like an assassination.
“I don’t expect it to take all that long though…” I laughed, my voice filled with confidence. “I’m just going to pop over there, scare them silly, and then come home. They do those strongest are the leader things right? Since we need a place, maybe we’ll just take the demon lord’s castle?”
“Ah, raise my baby in the demon country?” Aura looked hesitant; her brow furrowed in thought.
“Demon lands no good? Eh, when I get back, maybe I’ll check this Riun place out. Well, we can work something out then. It might be simpler to just set up my own nation,” I contemplated out loud, my mind racing with possibilities. “If any of the other nations get in our way, we’ll just destroy them.”
“Is the father of my child the hero or another demon lord?” Aura frowned, her voice filled with a mix of uncertainty and concern.
“Let’s not think about that. I’ll see you guys later. Let Millie know I’m stepping out for a bit,” I said, a smirk playing on my lips as I opened a hole in space and took a step right into the Demon Castle.
