Power of Creation - Power of Creation - V7 - Chapter 42
“It’s time to begin the most epic fight ever conceived!” I shout.
“How will that happen?” You ask. “Through tedious clicking repetition!” I respond. “…”
I look around. “I said… tedious clicking repetition!” “Okay… what’s going on here?” You ask.
I let out a long sigh. “It’s the fact it’s a book.” “Oh, not this crap again.”
“I created a little Javascript game. You literally have to click me to death. It’s intended to be a fun little obstacle between you and the end of the book.”
“Obstacle?”
“Well, the final chapter is passworded. The only way you can read it is by defeating me. You’d need to click it for about ten minutes straight.”
“That’s it? That’s the resistance you posed? You made yourself seem like some unbeatable god, but I can defeat you with just ten minutes of clicking.”
“The vast majority never beat it.” “What?”
“Yeah… there are still PoC fans who haven’t read the finale of the book.
“Wait, you’re saying they read 7 volumes, 400,000 words of content that took them at least a night or two to read, and they wouldn’t take 10 minutes to see the conclusion?”
“Clicking is apparently like superhard. Or tapping if you’re on a phone. I wanted it to be a challenge.”
“Is there a time limit?”
“Nope! They could leave it running in the background and just do a minute here or there as long as they don’t refresh the page. I ask for nearly
$200 to not NTR your harem, and you gladly paid it. I ask for ten minutes of clicking, and the vast majority said ‘fuck it, you can have them’.”
“To be fair… the bar does move rather slowly.”
“So? It’s called a challenge? What would have been the point if it was easy? Although… it wasn’t even what I originally wanted to do. I originally wanted to have a united healthbar with like a billion health, and then everyone online could click it and slowly bring it down over the course of a week. This version was supposed to be the secondary version later readers got. I liked how it turned out. Only thing I might have changed is having me speak more regularly.”
“Okay…” You shake your head. “What does this mean for me?”
“Oh, you bought the eBook, so you get to skip all that.”
“Then… I can just go on to the next chapter?” “Of course…”
“Alright then…” You narrow your eyes suspiciously. “But first! Let us have one last contest of wills.” “Oh, damn it!”
“Is my text boring you? Did you want less text in this book you bought to read? I’m sorry I’m increasing the value of your entertainment for you!”
“Just get on with it.”
“Boom!” I fling out a laser which strikes you, splitting you in two.
“What the hell!” You cry out as your body instantly reforms.
“All of my power, against all of your power. Let’s pull them out and flop them on the table!” “Please use a different visualization!”
“I’m going to shoot my power all over you.” “That’s even worse!”
“We’re going to Harry Potter the fuck out of this ending! Shoot your power, I shoot mine, and then the tips touch.”
“You’re so fucking weird, please say you die the next chapter!”
“If you want to find out, hit me with your best shot!”
I begin to collect all of my power, creating a giant well of energy bursting from my stomach like a carebear stare from hell. Realizing you have no choice but to do the same, you bring your power together into your hands. Two powers build in a world of infinite nothingness.
“Then… I’ll see you on the other side!” I laugh. “Just die already!” You curse.
My power is flung out, as is yours. The two powers collide, and an explosion equal to the big bang erupts between us. The shockwaves flow across reality, but in the end, there is clearly one victor.
Reality reforms, and you find yourself back in Riun.
