The Ghost Inside - Chapter 10
I waited in the locker room a bit longer, but when I heard nothing else after about ten or fifteen minutes, I decided it was probably safe to come out. I carefully opened the locker and stepped out, feeling a bit of apprehension. I had been in this old school building countless times, but this was the first time I felt genuinely uneasy. Something had happened that was so terrifying that Jack and his friends fled the building. They could have been jumping at nothing, but it was enough to make me hesitate.
Yet, I didn’t believe in supernatural things, so it only took a few breaths before I put my concerns behind me and then left the locker room. As I walked down the hallway, I was able to see a path of destruction. While looking for me, the three bastards had thought nothing of kicking over desks or knocking down chairs. Several of the rooms I had cleaned were now a mess. I reached the end of the mess, which must have been the place that caused them to run.
“There is nothing here.” I snorted.
I saw the chair that was likely the one he said was thrown. I had to admit, it left me flummoxed too. The chair would have had to be flung across half the room to reach its current spot. I picked the chair up, and then put it back in its place. I was going to have to go back and clean all of that up. It felt like every day, I had a distraction that forced me to redo stuff I had already cleaned. I felt like I’d be cleaning this place forever at this rate.
At the very least, there was one thing I was certain about. There was no ghost or ghoul inside this school. I’d be cleaning this all up on my own. Just as I let out a sigh, I heard something behind me. I spun around, and Ms. Smith was standing there with her arms folded across her enormous chest, and an angry and bitter expression on her face. I looked around and then held up my hands.
“Ms. Smith, look, I can explain this. I will clean it all up. I prom-” I started, but she cut me off.
“Didn’t I tell you to call me Emily?” She snapped, her cheeks flushing slightly.
I opened my mouth, and then made a face. “Uh… I thought you said your first name is Sylvia.”
She puffed out her cheeks in a cute way. “Out there… in the main school building, I might be Sylvia, but in here, I’m Emily! Do you get it now?”
I didn’t get it. Did she lie about her memory being bad? Maybe, she felt like if she called herself Emily, then it was like she was a whole different person? Did she have two separate identities? Either way, I knew if I told her I didn’t get it, she’d get madder, so I only had one choice.
“I understand now, Emily.” I lied.
Her eyes brightened and the edges of her mouth began to form a smile, but then she gave a huff and made a distinct frown.
“No!” She stomped her foot unhappily. “I’m still angry at you!”
“Huh? Why?”
“Because you cheated on me!” She declared.
I was taken aback. “I cheated? When?”
“Uh, yesterday, after four? That little blond girl with the pigtails, you stuck it in her butt?” She declared, her voice filled with grievance, before she let out a whine. “That was supposed to be my butt cherry you picked!”
“You know I slept with Tiffany?” I was completely shocked. “Ah… but, you were okay with Amelia, weren’t you?”
“That’s not the same!” She cried in frustration. “You can sleep with anybody you want, but it has to be me! I don’t want to share you with other women. Do you understand…”
“Uh… no…”
“Okay, so, you can sleep with the blonde girl…”
“Amelia…”
“Yeah, and you can sleep with the pigtailed girl.”
“Tiffany…”
“Right… and you can sleep with me! But only here!”
“In the old school?”
“Yes!”
“But I had sex with Tiffany in the old school…”
“Before 4 pm! It has to be me!”
“So… I can sleep with anyone I want… as long as it’s in this school… before 4 pm?”
“Do you get it?”
“Uh… yes?” I lied again.
However, just as she was about to say more, my stomach started to growl. Emily’s sourness seemed to fade as she looked at me with concern.
“Are you hungry, Dylan?” She asked.
“Ah… yeah, I haven’t been able to eat recently,” I admitted.
“You-you’re a growing living boy! You need to eat three times a day!” She suddenly looked serious.
“Money is a bit tight…” I scratched my head.
“Wait! I got it.” Her eyes lit up, and she pulled her purse up and went through it.
A moment later, she pulled out fifty dollars and held it out. I waved my hands.
“I can’t take that.”
“Take it! You have to eat!”
“You-you’re my teacher…”
“Take it!” She forced the bill into my hand, but then she pushed something else hard in there too.
I looked at what she handed me to see that the fifty was wrapped around a credit card with her name on it.
“No…”
“If you don’t take it, I’ll get mad again!” She glared.
I opened my mouth, but then closed it and helplessly put the money in my pocket. “Thank you…”
I would never use her card, but $50 would get me a month of ramen, at least! I might even be able to afford eggs. I turned back to the messed-up rooms, but I only got a few steps before Ms. Smith spoke up again.
“Where are you going?”
“I’m going to clean up the school like I promised. I’m doing this for you.” I told her.
She blushed, but then shook her head. “If you want me to be happy, you need to take care of yourself. You’re starving, so you need to eat.”
“Eat what?” I asked.
She thought about it for a second, and then went back into her purse. She handed me her smartphone, but she was holding it like it was a snake or something.
“I’ve seen people use these to get food. Will this work?” She asked.
I gave her an odd look, but when I touched the phone, the thumbprint icon appeared. I showed it to her, but she just stared blankly at it. I awkwardly reached out, took her hand, and then pressed her finger against the icon. The phone unlocked with a click.
She had internet service, so I looked up the closest pizza place and gave them a call. I didn’t want to go too far, so I only ordered one pizza, one topping, and a drink. I still couldn’t help but feel excited. When I hung up, I smiled at her.
“It’s on the way. This is awesome! Thanks, Ms… aw… Emily.”
“You like pizza?” She asked.
“Ah, who doesn’t? I can’t remember the last time I ate it, though. We… uh, don’t go out a lot, and my dad. Usually, I only get to go out on my birthday. Soda is also a rare treat for me.”
I continued to blather on a bit, just talking about life with my dad. Ms. Smith merely listened and smiled, and so I found myself speaking more and more, telling her things I never told anyone else. I told her about my dad’s job or lack thereof, our studio apartment, and everything.
Like that, fifteen minutes passed, and there was a knock on the front door to the school. The door opened with a creak, and a young delivery girl entered. She appeared nervous as she entered the abandoned school, looking around.
“Damn it,” I heard her mutter to herself. “I always hated this place, even back when I was a student. This better not be a prank. I’d rather a prank than a ghost call…”
“It’s neither,” I spoke up, causing the girl to jump with a yell.
“Ah… s-sorry… we just don’t usually get calls to this building.”
“Sorry about that.” She handed me the receipt and a pen, but then frowned.
“The name on the card is a woman.”
“It’s me.” Ms. Smith spoke up. “It’s my card.”
“In that case, you sign it.”
“Ah… s-sure…”
Ms. Smith’s writing was very sloppy and barely legible, but the pizza girl didn’t seem to care. She took it and told us the pizzas are still in the car. Since she didn’t know if the call was a prank, she left them there. I told her I understood, and she left to go get them. I watched as she left, wondering if I knew anyone she was related to at school.
“Do you want her?” Emily asked, noticing me watching the girl.
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“Do you want to have sex with her? I can arrange it if you want.”
I was taken aback. “Why are you fine with this stranger, but upset about Tiffany?”
She made a face. “You’re just not getting it.”
The girl returned with the pizza and the bottle of soda a minute later. I took the two excitedly.
“Thank you.” The girl seemed to look relieved that she could leave, but that was when Ms. Smith called out.
“This is your last chance. Once she escapes, you won’t be able to enjoy her.”
I stiffened, and then hissed. “I said no! Can you not say such things that can be misconstrued?”
It was too late, though. The girl had overheard this, and the look on her face was fear that we had bad intentions.
“Thank you, bye!”
“Ah! What about your tip?”
“Keep it!” She was already running back to her car in a full panic.
This old school did seem to scare people for no reason. I wondered how the cultural festival was going to fare. I brought the pizza over and sat with Ms. Smith in the lobby of the school on the floor. I was genuinely starving, and with the smell of the pizza, I didn’t hesitate to scarf down several pieces. It was only when I was on my third piece that I noticed that Ms. Smith was just silently sitting there and watching.
I swallowed my bite and looked at her. “Do you want a piece?”
She shook her head. “It will taste wrong.”
“Huh? What do you mean?”
She bit her lip as if she was thinking about it. “Everyone experiences the world differently. This is why tastes differ. For me, no matter the body, the way things taste and the way things smell is always off… never like how I remember. About the only thing among people that I find universally pleasurable is sex.”
As she was talking, she was looking off into the distance as if thinking about some distant memory. I didn’t know what she was talking about, but I was busy. My hand slipped into my pocket and pulled the money and card out, slipping them into her purse when she wasn’t looking. After that, I mostly focused on eating. I was both surprised and a little disappointed when I took a bite of the last slice. I had eaten an entire pizza on my own.
“S-sorry…” I blushed, leaning back and holding my bloated stomach.
She shook her head. “It’s fine. I just hope you have room for dessert.”
“Dessert? What dessert?” I hadn’t ordered anything else.
She licked her lips, and then knelt and began to unfasten my pants. “Ah! W-wait…”
“Do I have to?” She pouted. “There isn’t a lot of time left.”
“That’s right!” I looked at the clock that overlooked the lobby. “It’s 3:35.”
She giggled. “Plenty of time.”
“Ah…” I wanted to stop her, but I was just a young man.
My dick was hard, and she was already fishing it out of my pants. There was no way I could resist that level of charm. I could only lean back and let Ms. Smith do what she wanted. She pulled it out, and immediately began to lick it like a popsicle. It felt so good, I could only close my eyes and groan. Her tongue was incredible, and she knew exactly how to use it.
After a few licks, she pushed it into her mouth and began to suck it eagerly. It was a blowjob of a professional whore, a technique I would never be able to use on another person. I could only lie there and accept it. She took me deeper and deeper, the suction causing a tingling sensation to rise from my lower body. I could feel my dick begin to throb as I was getting closer and closer to release.
“M… Emilu…” I groaned. “I’m going to cum!”
She responded by sucking faster and harder, as if trying to bring the cum out of me. I could hold back no longer, and then I released my sperm into her mouth. She sucked it all up, swallowing it down. It was too much for her, and a bit dribbled out of the edge of her mouth, which she wiped away. She let my cock slip from her mouth, a line of spit still connecting us.
“I love the taste of your cum,” she said breathlessly.
I blinked. “I thought you said everything tasted weird.”
She giggled. “Your cum is the exception.”
She went back down and put my cock in her mouth again, even as it grew softer. I looked up with a sigh, and that’s when my eyes landed on the doorway. The front doors were merely glass, so one could easily see through them. Standing in the door, peering through the window, was Tiffany with a shocked expression. Before I could say anything, she turned and ran.
“Ah! Shit!” I stood up, causing Ms. Smith to gag as I shot to my feet. “Wait!”
“Dylan, where are you going?” Ms. Smith asked, but I had no time to answer.
I raced out the door, but it was too late. Tiffany was nowhere in sight. She saw me with Ms. Smith. She had seen everything. This could be a big problem. Shaking my head, I walked back into the school, but I found that Ms. Smith had disappeared too. How was everyone able to disappear like that? It was frustrating. I looked up at the clock. It was 3:55. I supposed she had gone. I walked to the spot we had been sitting, and there was the fifty dollars and the credit card. She had left them behind. Sighing, I reached down and picked them up, finding a hastily scribbled note in the same messy scrawl she signed her name with. It took me five minutes to decipher the short message.
Must go. Please stay fed and healthy.
I love you.
Emily.
After a moment, a smile formed on my lips and I put it away. I realized that everything would be okay. This time, I had received a genuine love letter, even if it did come from a teacher. I also realized I wouldn’t be able to abandon Ms. Smith so easily anymore, because I was starting to fall in love with her too.
Thanks for the chapter. I’m loving the story. I can’t wait to read more of it.
